Adopt A Social Worker

Welcome to the Adopt A Social Worker program! Social workers are responsible for the care of over 2,700 children in the Orange County foster care system. Their caseloads are large and their resources are sometimes stretched to the limit. By adopting a social worker, you will have the opportunity to meet the unmet needs of children and families and lift the spirits of the social worker.

Social workers voluntarily participate in the Adopt A Social Worker program in the hopes it will help them better serve the children and families on their caseload. This program is great for small groups looking to make an impact in families’ lives and the social workers’ lives as well. Here’s how the program works:

You will receive the name and contact information of your adopted social worker. They will let you know of their needs for their families which may include, but not limited to: food, blankets, furniture, school supplies, bicycles, gift cards, etc. Please be aware that names of children and families will be kept confidential. We ask for a six month commitment to your adopted social worker as we want both  you and your worker to have the best possible experience.

Contact Orphans@Saddleback.com or call (949)609-8555 to find out more about this opportunity.
